THE BOLTON ARMS

The Bolton Arms, which is open 7 days a week from 11am until late, is a homely Yorkshire Dales pub located in the scenic area of Wensleydale.  On the very edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park it is perfectly situated for those seeking to explore the area.

Your hosts, Bill and Janet, run the welcoming pub in the centre of the lovely village of Redmire.

Redmire is a popular centre for many superb walking routes.  You can also take the Wensleydale Railway service from the village station down the dale to Leyburn or further afield and perhaps walk back.

The Bolton Arms kitchen provides homemade food throughout the day with a delicious choice of main meals served at lunchtime and during the evening.  Light bites are available throughout the day alongside a tempting array of home baked cakes and scones which can be enjoyed with a pint of beer or a cup of tea or coffee.  Food is served either in the relaxed lounge bar area or the more formal dining room.

The traditional bar with wood burning stove is well  stocked with a choice of real ales and a wide range of hand chosen wines and spirits.  The pub has an outside seating to the front and also a sheltered beer garden with lovely views of Penn Hill.

The accommodation follows the theme of the pub by offering welcoming, comfortable and clean ensuite rooms.  The upstairs Superior rooms share a balcony offering stunning views over the surrounding countryside and hills, whilst the tastefully renovated stable block offers  easily accessible ground floor accommodation.
